In fact, the NHS Physical Activity Guidelines for adults recommend that all adults should do at least two full-body strength-training workouts a week.That's not because we should all aspire to bulging biceps or sexy abs — although weight-lifting can and will change the appearance of your muscles. The recommendation to strength train comes from the combination of all the benefits, from the physical to the emotional and mental.
